Elizabeth & Danny’s wedding – Chadderton Town Hall, Oldham

Last Friday, I had booked in Elizabeth & Danny’s wedding. It was only to be a small affair, with just a handful of guests, but this did not make it any less important. It allowed for more time to be spent with the bride and groom to get more photographs of their biggest day together. They were a lovely couple to work with and I wish them all the best in the future – especially that they don’t get stuck in Greece because of the ash cloud. Not that I’d be envious much!

Jamie & Kelly’s wedding – Oxwich Bay, Swansea

An Easter wedding continues my collection of themed weddings, and despite it taking place on the 1st April, the only ‘joke’ was the weather – rain, rain and more rain.. but you can’t book good weather! The wedding of Jamie and Kelly took place at Oxwich Bay Hotel, near Swansea, Wales. The hotel overlooks a beautiful bay, and is situation next to a lovely beach – a spot for Summer I think!

Stephen & Laura’s wedding

Stephen & Laura booked me to do their wedding in the Summer of 2008, and how time has flown since! The weather this week has been very festive, and despite the city centre location (The Castlefield Rooms, Manchester) there was still a good amount of snow around. Its not very often that it snows at weddings – especially in good ol’ Blighty, so I intended to make the most of it!

I chose to post this picture though, because it is also not often (probably less so) that you end up with the Manchester United defence – albeit injured ones – turning up at the same venue for a pint. Probably before watching their colleagues being beaten 3-0 at Fulham! Left to right we have Rio Ferdinand, Johnny Evans, Wes Brown and finally John O’Shea.

More images are available to view from this wedding in the wedding portfolio. See the link at the top of the page!

All in all – a good day!

Chadkirk wedding

Chadkirk is a lovely little hamlet between Romiley and Marple. Chadkirk Chapel is a well known local beauty spot, and human habitation here dates back thousands of years. The area has changed little over the past couple of hundred years and now is owned by Stockport Council, who take great care in managing the delicate environment.

A fun day at work.. beautiful surroundings, a lovely couple and guests and to top it off, a stripping butler!

Harry & Leona’s wedding

Harry & Leona tied the knot on a gorgeous end of August day, in the beautiful cathedral city of Ely, Cambs. You couldn’t have hoped for a better day to be shooting the wedding of a lovely couple.

Andy & Laura’s wedding

I met Andy whilst working at DE Photo’s studio in Manchester, and was happy to photograph his wedding for him. The day itself was lovely, plenty of sunshine and a nice warm end of Summer’s day.
